Just got back from my annual 4 days in Maine and absolutely crushed the stripers while wading throwing topwater plugs and trolling the tube and worm from the canoe.  Only one keeper bass but just a ton of fun catching many 15" to 20" stripers on my walleye tackle.  No trip would be complete without a couple stops at Bear's Bait in Kennebunk to pick up some worms.

How far out are you taking this canoe?

Not out in the ocean kind of far :o  Fishing a tidal bay and inside some islands with my trusty Radisson.  Great canoe for trolling because of the oarlocks.  The guy that owns Bears Bait has the exact same one hanging in his garage.  He says he bought it and never used it.
Friends don't let friends use tipups.
