Looks good Pat.  No the water was not muddy where I was.  They have hogsback really low right now and that water is a bit off color.  The sediment must be dropping out in the first couple miles.  Water clarity was clear 18 miles downstream.

Busted out my fly rod on one of the cape kettle ponds and wreaked havoc on the stockies. I counted 25 bows brought to hand all on drys and buggers. Was sight fishing the whole time too watching them chase a quickly stripped bugger.

Sounds like fun.  Can't beat a streamer bite.  I did the same up in Riverton on Friday but caught a 1/5 as many.  All tank scrubbers so not pic worthy.

Still at it and will be out tomorrow.

Pair of decent browns caught on the "sex dungeon"

Nice browns!

Glad to see someone else is still out there fishing the streams this late in the season.

Thanks Jim.  They didn't photo well in my hand, both were very respectable at least in my opinion.

Started yesterday at 6am.  Bad idea.  15 degrees.  Water was 44.  Felt warm wading in.  Lots of icing on the guides.

Once the sun came up the streamer bite got started.

Bumped into this guy too:

Is that Sasquatch?

Nice work fishing Jon! 2 more weeks in the woods for me and then some local cast and blast trips.

Impressive action for this late in the season.

As for the subject of the last photo, he does indeed appear somewhat "Squatchy."

Haha that would be me. Too funny. My Instagram handle is Patsquatch413. Long story short I’ve got some chest hair.

Got into a few as well. First tiger trout I’ve seen in a while.

Sweet!

I love tiger trout.

They're a real rarity in my neck of the woods, and I've only caught a couple in all my years of fishing, but they give one helluva fight.

My understanding is that they are a rarity in the Farmy as well.  I don't think they have stocked them for at least two years.  I fully expected it to be a small wild brown.  I'm not sure if it is possible for them to be born naturally.
