Trolled Rondout this morning . One good hit.
Went to Rondout Creek after and had a good brown on that jumped and spit the hook. Stopped by the Black Creek on the way home and caught a few fallfish. Back out tmrw.

Hi folks, I have hunted the NYC watershed property at Neversink and have a question. Is there any public access to the Neversink river off Hunter Rd or Claryville Rd? Thxs for any info/input.

Yes there is a new DEC Access site right downstream of the Hunter Rd bridge on Claryville Road. It's where the old Camp 4H pines easement was. Good luck.

Hit the bank at Rondout from a few different spots with shiners and spoons and only one run on bait all day. Hit the Rondout Creek after and got skunked there as well. DEP officer said nobody was having luck.

Trolled Pepacton yesterday with my friend Steve. 2 colors, 2 mph close to the bank on silver Michigan Stingrays & Thin Doctors. 5 for 5, his were 17", 19" & 25", mine were 20" & 22.5". Great first trip of the season up there.

nice fish Gino. My friend John and I hit Rio Saturday for some live lining sawbellies. After a slow start we started connecting around 10am. we managed to land  2 up to 4lbs, lost a similar one at the boat and had a strong smallie break off a the boat. We also had several other run offs.Baits were large. Lou 8) 8)

Had a good last bunch of days, on Friday hit the Neversink River with my friend Mike, landed three browns and lost two nice ones, Mike got a beauty as well. Hit Brodhead with my girlfriend on Saturday with shiners and she got her first Ashokan fish , 2 browns and a smallie and I got three browns. Skunked at Rondout on Sunday, hit it again on Monday with my dad using saws , two lakers and two browns. Got a birthday brown and a smallmouth today trolling with DaveW at Ashokan.  ;D
