I would like to escort a few more icefishermen to The Walleye challenge this coming yr. to represent Ct Its a one day 8 hr tourney they award $1200 an hr to the top 3 fish per hr. let me know and I will put you on the list, this tourney sells out before thanksgiving. Edierz, bugs and myself with a few friends have done this and its a blast

Glad to hear it Gary we all got beat up by the pace we kept, it took me 4 days to get back to normal, Eric picked up the boat today it looks great

Eric will be coming from Va. for the tourney he had a blast last yr. Our best #s yr yet 8 walleye and  8 smallies, I will be going out again with Doug (hunts2long) There are a few old bridge piers I have not found yet. We caught all those fish on the old road Structure Good ol GPS

It's a great lake that's for sure.  I don't know that you guys want me at a walleye challenge as I seem to attract the stinklogs!

Low there is more than one tourney that day, you can enter we got bit off last yr if Walter is there so is Mr.pike We entered the lake from the campground on the snowmoble trail 24+ inches of ice sat in the heated CRV all day, Givin the temps we had in Quebec this yr its going to be a very cold winter,the great lakes the water is cold, our lac up north was 8 degrees below normal for that time of yr

Would be nice to drive truck out rather then quad or snowmobile. Insurance tells me truck would be covered if you have comprehensive coverage . Low would be nice to finally meet you , always enjoy your posts.

Much appreciated!  I get a 50/50 percent love/hate response rate to my posts.  However I can say of all the guys I've met in person I've yet to meet one that I wouldn't fish with again.

I think I'd like in on this one, I like that lake a lot and have never done a tourney so going with guys that know how to have a good time doing so would be awesome!  (I would drive my grand cherokee on no issues)

The date has not been posted yet, in the past it has been the last saturday in January in 2016 that would be the 30th. My guess it will be within a week either way
