Didn't get my first choice doe tag, which is expected with 0 preference points and only 2,400 issued for the entire WMU. Did get my second choice, so we'll sit back and see what happens.

Heading down to the Catskills for a try at the early bear season. Never really had a desire to shoot one, but was invited down to a nice spot with some great people. Guess I'll just sit back and see what happens too.

Shooting one with your bow is absolutely the biggest rush you'll have!! I killed one a few years back with my bow.. never cared to kill one... but presented itself and what a memory!!!

Nice buck Pounder, is he trying to get inside?  :P
Didn't get a bear but saw a fisher and lots of doe & skippers. Time to get back fishing and stack firewood.

Dave you didn't have to that far for a bear. There are  getting to be plenty around here.

Physical Therapy next door said they saw a huge one between their place and mine. Yes Ken we are getting more here!
