Nice Frank... alot of nice fish in the Mac. This morning..
Left the dock at 4:30 to run my bug traps, solid fish on top from ice breaker to Rt 1 bridge, smashing herring, fish are much bigger, first cast yielded a 44" fish second cast produced a twin... I left them to run my pots before it got too nasty
, glad I have a boat that can handle this crap. Trim tabs, motor jack wide flared bow and 4 blade prop kept me comfortable and dry, I got 7 keepers out of 10 pots, when I returned to the river I played a hunch, lots of 15 to 20 lb fish up river. Headed to Lawrence on the heels of the herring.
Just polished off a lobster pie, garden green salad and home brewed stout..life is good today.

A tad north of me actually and I think you actually capitalized on it.
90% of fish are caught by 10% of fisherman. You are the later
