hopefully i don't get in too much trouble for sticking these pictures on here, only did it here too cause its pretty dead over on the shanty. these pics are from the last ten days or so, hopefully get out at least once or twice more on the hard stuff.

wow, those are some nice fish, man.  Good work.  The ice has been gone where I live for about a month.  Nice pile of perch, northerns, and burbot.  I'm glad you didn't try to kiss the northerns, lol.  8)

we still have about 3 feet or so of good ice on most lakes but the season closed on friday, still might drive the 4 hours to get into some more fishing.

if most lakes weren't closed i'd still be driving on the ice for a while and ice fishiing for another 3  weeks or so.

As a person from a state that does not have burbot(only day before yesterday found out what they were), what is with the tradition of kissing them(burbots)? Is is just something you do for luck or what?
