Crappie jigs!

Ditto on the crappie jigs!!  When I go after crappie, half of my catch is big fat gills. Little tube jigs is all I use for crappie.
Other than that, If I want gills, I go with the trusty nightcrawler - they love 'em.
Gone fishin'

How about Alaskan coho salmon? Have to dig out my honeymoon pics.....I think I will count the mighty whitie, but I bet 5 mins on my boat and we'll have that one taken care of ;) IMO the funnest way to fish gills is through the ice, although flies are pretty fun too.
