How about one of these Berkley Air IM8 Buzz Ramsey-designed salmon/steelhead rods for $53?

I have a 9' version that I've been using as my bottom-bouncing rod for a few years.  IMO, for the money, this rod is very hard to beat.  I picked mine up a few years ago as a Black Friday deal and paid $37.

I found this one  at dicks. I think I'm going to give it a try it's pretty cheap and seems to have pretty good reviews.
