Title: How many of you use the Chamberlain Downrigger Release?
Post by: taxid on Mar 31, 2018, 08:06 AM
I will be trolling out of state on a vacation in June where trout of mixed size are common. Have been using rubber band releases where runt trout are common here in Indiana inland lakes. However have mixed feelings about the rubber bands. How many of you use the Chamberlain release and like it for lighter hitting fish?  if not what do you prefer?

Thanks!

Edit: Typed in Chamberlain and Chamberlain downriver releases and only coming up with this thread. Maybe I'll try just downriver or releases.

I love the Chamberlain releases. I have stackers as well and use them. They are great releases very easy to use. Can set a lot of preload on the rod and still trigger light fish. And boy do I know about catching light fish ::) :-\
