leadcore pref ????

got some of that gudebrod leadcore and snapped two lines real easy...both were 18lb test...........should i go heavier or another brand???????

How did you snap them?? The sheath covering is very strong and you should not be able to just break them. Remember, being a no stretch line, you don't have to "set" the hook.

I have snapped 15lb test core just tieing a knot and pulling it tight :)

was a bottom snag but really didn't even pull them.........they must have had kinks in them but snapped like nothin both of them............... ???
