It is supposed to be 45 degrees tonight. Crazy for sure. The dog days of summer are coming to an end. Bite should start back up very soon.

Crazy weather for sure. Record setting heat last week and now near record cold. No need to wait on the bite though, it's been pretty darn good.

I hear ya. Been itching to get to the big lake myself.  But the perch bite on other lakes has been really good. I've had good luck over the past month at 2 different lakes for perch. Some giant gills mixed in too.

Hang on! We have another round of heat next few days! These last couple of chilly nights will no doubt push a lot of doves south for the Dove opener which seems to happen so often!!!
I'm heading for the UP next September 9 for a week. It is to be warm up there next week. Hope it cools off!!
