200khz vs 50 khz transducer
« on: Jul 27, 2010, 06:43 AM »
I need to order a new transducer for my garmin 250c fish finder. I fish only lakes with max depth of 80-100'. My qquestion is what transducer am I better off with, a 200khz or a 50khz? I am more interested in what kind of structure is at the bottom and how deep I am fishing.

If you are not going to use a dual, with what you have described I would go with the 200KHZ. The 50 is better for deep water separation.
