Well my visit to Saratoga Lake did not go exactly as planned :(. A budy of mine never showed up (not camo he reliable). then there must have been a turny on because there was a line at 630am to launch (then they buzzed up and down the lake all morning, some a little to close for comfort >:( , not that I have anything against the turny's themselves but some of the participants need to learn some maners) I fishes the weed line early for a few hours  and caught a few pickeral. I couldn't get any pictures because the camera was not working. I then started fishing for what I really went there for eyes  ::)  but it seems I was destine to catch everything but eyes (later I got the camera to work hooraw!)

First fish was a nice little pike

then a few bass

then this dandy bluegill I caught at 40 feet!!!!

But no walleye. thats O.K. I can't complain esspecially with the great weather

So as I trolled my last circet the sun set on this fine day

and the moon smilling at me reminded me I'd better get my butt off the lake and get home before the wife comes looking LOL

Deposit:  Nice pics and a nice pike.  I am going to try my luck tomorrow on the lake if this rain ever stops.  Hopefully no tournament midweek.

Camo:  "Fish on" sounds so much better than "seven on"!

Took the boat out for its last run for the year on Saratoga. I was hoping to find some of the walleye again, but for some reason they seem to elude me on this lake, I started at 6am,what a windy wavy day!  :'(  I caught a couple small bass for the most part so I decided to head in at 2pm but before I took the boat out I decided to fish up fishcreek for a bit since I have never fished it before. No real action then BAMB :o

24 inches  ;D

It barely fits in my live well

40 minuets later BANG  :w00t:

27 inches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After I got home they both were weighed. The little one is 4.5lbs and the big one is 8lbs!!!!!!!

Although it was a llllooooonnnnngggggg   day it ended very well at 4pm
Was a good trip to end the season with. Now its time to clean up the boat and bundle it up for the winter. Time to get my butt out in the woods and gets me a deer  ::)
