Here are a few pike flies I had tied from some sample pics that I googled.. Not sure if they'll hold up to more than a couple aggressive pike hits but Im sure they will produce. I have the 9wt strung up and the lake picked out (Thanks Cornbread!!) All I need is this work thing to loosen the dang shock collar

I really haven't hooked into anthing with the capability yet and my next outing will be the first time pursuing em with a fly rod. I can say it is a blast fighting em when you are that low on the water. You kinda get nose to nose with em when they thrash on the surface.

That should be fun! I've caught quite a few rainbows out of my float tube, none on a fly rod though. Everything you hook into is super intense, and definitely in your face! I'd love to go for a ride behind a big slimer some day!
