You spying on me Red? I dont now if it was the concrete slabs behind me at the first spot or the scenery at the second spot but you got my number... more than likely you fished every inch of creek/river/pond/lake around here before I ever set foot here   :clapping:

Did the Salmon thing again today, I got one about 17" and Mike got a nice smallie around 3 lbs. There were many people fishing the mouth today and a few fish were caught including a very nice salmon around 5-6 lbs. I caught my Salmon on a "Blaze" lure from gander and Mike got the bass on a live shiner.

Slip- It jumped once as soon as I hooked it, not very high but fully airborne, I cant wait to hook a slammer down there.

Fishing isn't a matter of life or death, it's much more important than that!

I live with FEAR everyday, and sometimes she lets me go fishing!

Went salmon fishing today with beerman.  There were tons of small mayfly types on the surface with very few fish rising over the couple hours we were there. Beerman got a nice salmon and I caught squat, still a good time on the river.

Beerman and his nice 20" salmon

Beerman tryin to salvage his rap.

WOW its been a while since I posted here but I misplaced my camera wire and got a few out of the memory card at a friends house. I have been fishing the Saranac river and catching 90% smallies with a pike here and there and waves of White Perch in between. I have been fishing exclusively with live bait that I have been cast netting and trapping in beaver ponds around the area.  I did the shark tournament last weekend in Montauk but only ended up with a few blue sharks and no photos since we didnt have anything decent. The captain we fished with caught a 294lb Thresher the next day which would have won enough cash to retire for a year, o well thats fishin.  We had fun anyway and beerman got to crank a few in. I have been dying to catch a walleye of keeper size but the eye gods just arent with me, I went with my buddy Mike and got 20 or so between us that were 13-17", they gotta be 18" to keep. The few pics below are from the mouth of the Saranac aside from the Slob Striper my sister caught in long island sound, it was her first ever.

Nice little fattie caught on a grass minnow.

Another one, a little longer but not so fat.

Mike and a Whitie from the wall

ANND my sisters first ever striper, around 40 lbs. Biggest i ver got was 25-30...think that will spoil her?
