Kind of cool the way it's out of shape....like a real mushroom.

The newest member of the "little wood shop"

Dewalt DWS709, 12" dual bevel, sliding mitre saw.

I gave up on the old Ridgid mitre box. Put a new field coin in it and discovered it also needed an armature. No way I was going to put another $150 into that Saw.

This thing is really sweet and I got a great deal on it as well. I really love working at Lowes ;D

My son turned another mushroom for the collection today.

He's learning and I'm enjoying passing on some of what I know.

Looking forward to birdhouse season ;D

No we haven't. We're looking more towards the creative side of design. Different shapes and materials.

I seem to remember a shipment of really good zucchini relish that appeared out of nowhere. Then there was that lifetime supply of peacock herl.

Pm your address Dom ;D

Cork glued onto a stem? Nice!   ;D
One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.

The cork stoppers are the inexpensive style. The silicone stoppers are next. Need to order up some more materials today. I'll be doing duck calls Boone. That's a whole different set of fixtures, mandrels etc.

Made a couple more carbide turning tools. They may look crude, but they work like a charm.

I especially like the round tool. It seems to have endless possibilities.
