Finally sunny and nice,  well the weather has been bad up untill now but i will say the fishing has been amazing.  I have caught 2 bass over 5 lbs and 3 pickeral over 4 lbs since ice out on the assabet river,  not to mention lots of smaller ones.  Lets hope the good fishing sticks around with this good weather,  we will see goin out in about 20 minutes I can see them jumpin out there should be a good day

i brought Randall out yesterday (in the canoe)  He  lost more fish then I catch in a whole weekend (thats alot).  I gave him my ultralight pole with 6 lb test what a mistake that was, the way he horses fish in every 5-10 minutes  I would here his drag spooling out   then he would yank really hard or try to stop the spool from spinning what an idiot.  I figured  the only way he would land some fish is if I let him use my muskie or striper pole  with some 30 lb test..  well I am heading out on the river  without randall this time,  i will talk to you later bro
