Title: oneida walleye

Is the walleye size and limit staying the same on oneida lake 2024 season ( five fish @ 15 inches ) ?

As far as I know it is staying the same. 5 fish at a 15 inch minimum.

Probably next week. I think they might put the nets in this week.

Hatchery workers were out today in boats setting the nets.

I go up almost every spring. Never get tired of watching the process and seeing the big ones that got away.  It IS a cool thing.
Just watching the workers and taking in all the technology that goes into it is reason enough cough up that fishing license without complaint.

I checked Scriba creek on Monday and did not see a fish. I checked again last night and there are some fish in there. I would imagine there should be a good number of fish in there this weekend. These up and down weather patterns can't help.
