Get your motors running. Here's a few of many from the Hudson striper campaign.

Nice fish.  But, most importantly, it is nice to see young guys fishing instead of runnin the streets.  Keep it up, youl go far.

just my 2 cents

Thanks,

The boys love to fish. My oldest is now driving and he can't wait to get out after school and hit the river with his friend. Much better than other alternatives.

It's not always about the fish. The scenery brings you back as well. Here's some pics I took at some of my favorite fishing holes:

While we're waiting for the trout opener here in NY, thought you'd like to see some  classics from the Bartman archives:

1. Black Hole Salmon River October 1984 - Not my cup of tea

2. Frozen waders standing up by themselves - Pulaski NY Winter 1985

3. I broke my f****g pole - Saratoga Lake - late 80s

4. Surf's up at the camp - Saratoga Lake - mid 80s

More to follow,
Bart

Great pictures, never seen the black hole like that, and I agree. I like the surfs up on Saratoga, just a little bit of water that spring.
Drove my the Batinkill today, looking good, alittle color.
Got to wait till next week to hit the streams, good luck this opener.

Slipbob,

I agree. The camera is a must. We were fishing the backwaters of Coveville on the Hudson for bass last summer when to my son's surprise, the Manfish of Coveville appeared from the scum when I took this quick shot:

After nine days of being too busy to hit the waters, I finally was able to do a little trout fishing yesterday. Here's the biggest brown of the day, caught and released.
