Title: new personal best channel cat

caught this dude on half a nightcrawler just before a massive rain/wind storm hit.

4 pounds and 19 1/2" long

the cats around here are usually very dark, the water is seldom murky so they're never as pale as they might be back east or down south.

there are bullheads in this particular pond, but they don't grow to larger than a pound, and are always as yellow as yellow can be.

also note that the tail is forked. bullheads have rounded tails.
