Lying in bed last night I remembered a few things I forgot to do.
Check tire inflation pressure and spare.
And also check the fuel.
Not sure how much fuel I have.

Lastly, I need to check the dates on my flares.

Do you need flares on Lake O? Or all lakes in NY? There were 4 expired flares in the boat when I got it, but I think they are only required offshore.

I'm covered Mac, just never had to deal with flares on inland lakes here in NH, I'll brush up on my course book from when I took it a few years ago. Very good for me to brush up.

I'm getting my bass tracker 175 serviced this weekend. As you know there is still a possibility of snow. Do you think freezing water will hurt the hull or the motor?

If it did, they wouldn't run boats in Alaska.

Make sure your motor is warmed up properly.
Also, make sure it drains thoroughly, so nothing freezes and cracks afterwards.

Guys use their boats with outboards in the lower Niagara all winter.

Looks like I will be selling.
Not giving it away.
Those that know me, know the boat will be worth buying.
If you are interested, pm me for further details.

PLEASE - don't post anything here.  Don't flood the thread.

Thanks.
Mac

An update -

The boat will be for sale in about a month.
After I get back from Florida on 5/20.
LOTS of options on it.
PM me if anyone is interested.

On 5/21 it gets listed on the 4 sale sites.
If I can avoid the hassle of lots of inquiries I might knock of a few dollars.
But again, I have really taken great care of it and I won't give it away.
But you WILL get a very nice boat with low hours on the main motor and a boat that has been serviced the right way.
The canvas is in the shop getting some re-stitching because of a small tear and I noticed some of the stitching being loose.
I have it very well documented on what I bought and what I spent.

Thanks.
