Title: Windy Sunday
Post by: kesdadddy7597 on Nov 04, 2018, 12:57 PM
My brother and I decided to test the weatherman and see if the wind predicted for today was right, and much to our dismay it was!  We got out for 4 hours or so and fought with it.  The fish were where I wanted them to be, but the wind was just too much to get set up. Ended up with 18 gills.  We lost quite a few more as it was a chore getting s good hookset. Definitely would have caught many more has the weather been a bit more cooperative. Caught all of our fish in 5-7’ of water over weeds.

Nice job hanging in there to get a few.  I understand... fishing in ghe wind can be a challenge for me as well.  Its never relaxing for me, and i go fishing to relaxe in the first place.
