Title: Family fishing on the Red
Post by: Thriller on Jul 06, 2004, 10:34 PM
We went to Ernie O'Dowda Park after supper tonight.  The eldest child went to sleep over at a friends, so we thought it might be a bit easier.  Anyway, here is a shot of the others...

After the boys decided to run around for a while, Suzanne wound up catching a small walleye -

I caught a small channel cat as well as missed a couple of hits.

We kind of like this spot as we never seem to get skunked.  The puny catfish (small bullheads or maybe stonecats) we were catching there a couple weeks ago seem to have moved off.

Tomorrow night I am off with a friend to the general vicinity of the floodway gates.  Hopefully we'll have a bit more action there.
