There was a time when I could polish off that steak and another potato.
Probably hold out for lunch. Tomorrow’s my one day of work this week.

Banana bread recipe with chocolate chips, I in bake dish in lieu of a loaf dish. Guess that might just make it banana cake

I know this is a sad statement....but I am already over the corned beef that I made. I made it early because I get my second Covid shot today and wanted to be sure I could enjoy it in case of any side effects.
It was really good and all, I just can only eat something so many times before I want to throw it out or give it all away. My brother is very excited today!! LOL!!

We do a half for us and freeze the other for sometime later. The Guinness stout recipe was really good.

Yeah, I could have done much less. Did 2 flats and a point. 2 heads of cabbage and 3 big bags of baby carrots. Probably had enough for 20. hahahaha. My brother won’t let it go to waste, he said!

If you have a smoker, grab some corned beef on sale now. A good soak in cold water some Texas style rub, with time in the smoker, you will have some very tasty, cheap pastrami.

Have my corned beef in for for hours now, about to wrap it and add the cabbage, which is stuffed with butter and seasoning.

I didn’t soak the corned beef very long, wanted to see if I could keep the salty flavor
