went fishing with wife 6/14/18  wife caught 17 blue gills, I caught about 25 gills and 2 SMALL bass
ALL C/R, try small circle hooks lost most fish [learning cure maybe]

NO, just donot understand,but may be my age.

That statement didn’t have anything to do with keeping fish , it simply means keep chasing them

There sure is a learning curve with circle hooks. Trick is to use a size or two bigger than your usual J hook, and remembering to not do a traditional hookset. give them a second after they bite, and when they start to swim, give them a bit of tention and just start reeling them in.
