Nice fish and fishing spot! I am assuming that's the canal I have never been there, but you are very fortunate to have such a good fishing spot to fish from shore. Maybe I will get to vacation there someday and I'll have to look you up canal king!

BB.....yes  PPss    50#  on jig stick and 40# on plugger!   Thnks guys  Was a TOUGH beginning but Its been ON this last lil bit. Anyone wants to try....... Im always down with bringing new guys!  BB..as far as L & G.......most of these fis besides the manic prey pic are 30-38#...40-49 inches!

How do you like the SuperSlick? I have some 10# on the reel i use for freshwater, it seems to cast really nice. I have some of the 6# Berkley Nanofil on another smaller trout rod that casts great as well.
