Title: great start to the season PB carp and big smallmouth

after months of terrible weather and inconsistent temperatures, we finally got a couple weeks of sunny and 75. it seems the fish were waiting for it too!

third fish of the day, came on a 3" twistertail grub. i didn't have a scale, but i estimate her at around 20 lbs. easily larger than my previous best of 7 lbs.

average bass for the day at 16 1/2 inches. did best with a texas rigged 6" ribbon-tail worm.

Another set of good fish pics there PF13, boy those smallies have been pretty elusive here since the heat turned up in june and our water temps rocketed to 80deg surface temps  :-\ I'm sure you know what I mean being just to the north
