I frequent B&E on 104 in Ontario and Bay Bridge in Sodus. If I'm looking for something specific...online!

Chock up a vote for fish307 in Queensbury. Good bunch of guys. Even better bunch of guys when they recognize your face as with most shops. A little loyalty goes a long way.

Nice guys, With the economy in shambles I am going to try to buy as much from non chain stores as I can. Even If it costs more. Local knowledge and service go along way and If it costs me more it's worth it.

Is that the place near Gunlocks?   Wow have not been there in years..  I will have to stop in the next time  I am in the area.

Fish307 in this area has my vote> They have a real good ice fishing lure assortment.  The best that I have seen yet.

You can't even consider the Dick's here a tackle shop.  The one in Madison caters to the bike riding sports playing crowd.  Their guns and fishing stuff are crammed upstairs out of the way as to not offend the liberals.  Phil and Son is the bait shot I frequent here.  Located inside an old Harley Dealer they have ample space for all their jigs, rods, reels, guns, ammo, etc.  They are also a drop off site for getting my tipups repaired or re-lubed.  I buy almost all my stuff their.
