Appreciate the kind words gentleman!! I will pass along the congrats to the Wife. The weekend was unreal fishing for us with non-stop action everywhere we checked, fish are definitely on the feed heavily! We are both pleased to have placed in this event. Good luck out there.
Just put me on ice and ill find water!

Speaking of channel markers, when I was out two weeks ago I could not find the winter Buoy for 109.  I have it marked on my GPS, but when I was in the area where it should be I found nothing. Did it sink?

I checked again to see if I could find buoy 109.  It is not  where it shoud be and I coud find no trace of it.  Does anyone know what happen to buoy 109?

Just got home from work we live south of 109 and I see no buoy . 111 is visible thinking, winter marker might have sank. It was there right before ice out.

Launched my kayak this afternoon at Verona Beach SP. East wind picked up and made it a little extra work getting back. Trolled with worm harness. Marked a fair number of eyes I think out in front of Sylvan Beach in 20 to 25 fow but no takers. Got a good workout anyway.

It was pretty choppy last night. The East wind is always surprising. I swear it is always harder than the forecast says when it is East.

Maybe try jigging next time BB.

I think you are right reeleyz. I had some with me to. Probably should have started out jigging.
I am pretty new to kayak fishing and was getting use to the whole setup. Next time I will switch things up a bit.

Nice job Fred.

Anything in their bellies?

I filleted a few yesterday and their stomachs were all full of some type of bait. It was too digested to really tell what.
