Un-Cool fishing!
« on: Aug 26, 2020, 11:00 AM »
Fished a nearby lake that is drying up due to the drought.  DOW suspended limits and size restrictions. Hit it while it's hot!  It was 100F out there we fished from 620am till 530 pm.

Deepest anywhere is 6.2 ft.  working white grubs was the ticket.

Old Mr whiskers must have been fun.   :thumbup_smilie:
White curly tail grub is the best.    Fish it top, to bouncing off the bottom and anywhere in between....

The cat weighed 6.7lbs. Fought like a freight train.

I haven’t caught a cat in years, but I still remember the few I did. The fight hard!

Nice batch of filets there I would assume? Or are the fish not safe to eat anymore when the water temps/oxygen levels get like that?
