Weekend gold (and gills)

Hit a lake with a couple buddies this past Friday. On the water before sun up. Found an open pocket in some thick weeds on an 8' to 10' flat. It was loaded with perch and a few gills. Slip bobbers with minnows set right on the bottom.

I need to find me one of those lakes. The gold i catch are almost always an isolated catch or i just need to educate myself on how to target them better.

nope, haven't made it out there this year. Doubt I do this year.
