Yesterday went for bloodwork in AM and family Dr in PM. Got GREAT news! In 3 days platelets went from 50k to 272k!!!!!! God at work!  Toxicologist in Pitt said it would be weeks before platelets got back to normal(NOT days). Can’t explain it.

Dr. Is a quirky, funny older Jewish gentleman. And blunt!  After he heard my story, he said “Good thing God gave you more “hutzpa”................to make up for your lack of brains!”
I then told him: “story of my life, doc! When you are NOT Dean’s List material, you gotta make up for it by being REALLY tough!” 

They also weighed me- down 20 lbs! Just don’t have my appetite back yet.

Was able to make it thru my daughter’s swim banquet tonight! Even walked around a bit. THIS is the reason why I made it off that mountain(Alive!)    Oh, and my son, but he was working tonight.

I see some “kayak therapy” in my future! I need to keep my leg extended with a slight flex in the knee- as in the position you are in sitting in a kayak. I think at least 3-4 days per week should do it!
