I don’t know about skill. Just an old man with a crazy idea and Time on his hands. It was a father /son project. We had a lot of laughs chasing marbles all over the basement floor.i I’m sure there’s still a good dozen hiding somewhere down there.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

My wife and I are doing our first craft show this Saturday. Something fun and different to try. I have some garden/spring items , some Easter items and cutting & charcuterie boards along with smaller items ( coasters , bookmarks , bottle openers ). Might try a few over the spring.

Working on the next RBS.
Got the base, bearing pump and tower set.

Worked on the diverter and distribution today.

Tomorrow will be the collection element and maybe some features. Hope I get this one completed before I go back to the course mowing. I’d like to give it to my Son.

Been a challenge going from wire to wood. But I’m committed to making this one all wood. Different mediums, same goal.

Don’t know what the tracks are gonna be. That’ll happen on its own. There’s freedom in the process I guess.

Makes an old guy think…and that’s a good thing.

Good grief! I was just spending a few looking back through what I’ve posted here, long forgotten projects. I guess life goes on.

Anyway, made progress with the small RBS today.

Got the return tracks installed and the collection cup. Time to start working my way up to the tower.

One element in the works. So much fun, never know where it’s going next.

Something new for me, hardwood picture frames . Using strap clamps really helped with the mitered corners

I was getting ready to spool p this center pin reel I made and realized I never posted any pics here.

It’s pretty nice. Has 3 Abec 9 ball bearings and spins really smooth. So smooth that I had to put 2 handles on it to balance the spool. Made from figured Sepele Mahogany.
