 :clapping: looks great fishooker!
Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish.

Thanks. I tie mostly eastern nymphs and catskill dries, but I'm starting to like tying steelhead flies.  The best side is most of them don't require hackle, which is starting to get VERY hard to find. Especially Grizzly. I went to a high school football game the other night and saw first hand why there's a shortage....

Nice work!

Don't worry too much about the feather thing. It won't last if the high school girls are the primary buyers.

I've been working on a "universal Nymph" pattern. It's almost there. I'm gonna have to get on the ice flies soon :w00t:

Just got back from a float trip on the Gunnison river in CO. and Jeep trip up to 12,950 feet or so in the San Juan mountain region. These guys were slurping grasshoppers as they fell in the river...or the occasional grasshopper fly-

I've done very little fly fishing but was really getting the hang of it by trips end- good fun!
This is the rest of the album if you're into scenery/jeeping shots...
