Here you go KP!
Stuff you need;
#4>10 aberdeen hooks
70 Denier thread. I use hot pink or chartreuse
Mylar piping, You can get a lifetime supply of red black, pearl, silver and gold for about $10 at a craft store.
Red dyed duck feather...also a craft store item
Gold or silver crimp beads. I get these at Joann Fabrics, They're inexpensive and come in gold plate, silver plate and pewter.
Super glue

Cut a chunk of mylar and remove the cotton cord from the center

cut the mylar into about 1" pieces

Slide the mylar on to the hook, pull it back and start your thread stopping about 1/4" back from the eye to leave room for the bead

Crimp a bead on at the eye over the thread

A little needle nose comes in handy.

Tie down the mylar behind the bead

Select a piece of duck feather

Tie the duck feather in behind the bead, whip finish and apply a drop of super glue to the thread

You can pick out the mylar strands if you like. It's gonna end up this way anyhow.

Tip it with a minnow or waxie and catch some perch ;D

start  with  the  hook   a  mustad  37160  these  happen  to   be  in  size  10

list  of  materials  is  glo  bug  yarn ,vinyl rib ,scud   back, peacock  herl  ....weight  is  optional

if  you  wish  weight  add  it  first    tie  the  yarn  rib  and  scud  back   to  the   hook  wrap   yarn   first   then   scub  back  then  rib

now    add  the  peacock  head

been  a  good   fly   for  me   you  can   use  what  ever   colors  you  wish  ,otis   give  it  a  try!
