If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Here's some of mine.

The bottom one is a tandem. Gives it a little wiggle when it walks ;D

They're ok. They work, that's what counts.

No ice this week Mike. High 40's into next week. I scouted out some docks today on my rounds. I have options :whistling:

not a stone but here's one that took quite a few steelies last year. Few wraps of different colored wire....peacock hearl, tinself flashback and I think hungarian partridge but don't quote me on that. Really easy to tie...tons of color combinations, fish with a bead head or without.

KP jr.'s post about kelly galloup's streamers got me thinking of one a tied up last year that slammed the fished up at the SR in the spring.

I know winter has hardly started...but man I can't wait for spring.

Here is a real Stonefly...

I use to get real crazy tying the right number of legs, ect...Here is one that works well for me. Basic black, rubber legs, bead head, wire ribbing for durability, swiss straw for wing case...

Ernye - Nice caddis. My buddies do quite well with them up there as long as there is some green in it.
Here is a pattern I make that has worked real well for me...

Rg - hard to beat a PT nymph. If I could only use one fly, that would be it...

Kowboy - Malindas sells a real basic Stone that works well. They are unweighted and have some color up towards the head. Red, purple, and gold.  :thumbup_smilie:
