BassJunky's Frog Collection
« on: Aug 26, 2011, 02:43 PM »
As you can see from many of posts, Im a frog freak, I love to fish frogs and will try pretty much anything. I wanted to start a thread showing off my arsenal and provide links to reviews I do on each one as I test them. If you have ever wondered about a specific frog but never had the chance to try it.. see below I have tried dozens, there are pics and reviews below, and many more to come as I give each one a try.

If you have a frog you love that you dont see below, let me know, im always interested in learning more and trying every frog i can get my hands on

SCUM FROGS:

This is the traditional Scumfrog in a selection of the colours I like to throw

Also available in the walking and popper version.. I dont use these as much as the traditional scum frog

the las t size available for the scum frog is the mini.. you can also buy these as tandem frogs linked by a 12 inch leader.

here is a link to my reiview of these frogs, as well as other hollow bodies.

Wow, great frog collection Bassjunky, you have quite the extensive line up. 8)

I have a few frogs I don't see on your list.

Hard frogs - #1 The "Rebel Wee Frog".  This is a crankbait style frog with a rattle and diving lip.

                 - #2 The "Rebel Buzz’n Frog".This is a topwater / buzzbait style frog.

Soft Frogs - #1 The good old "Mister Twister Hawg Frawg" in regular and floating.
They are a long time producer for me and one of my first frogs ever.
I fish them on a jig head, but the floating ones can be fished on the top.

                 - #2 Wave Worms "Tiki-Toad." - It can be fish as a top water, on a jig head or a weighted swimbait hook.

I have caught pike on all of these frogs and walleye on all of them except the Rebel Buzz'n Frog.

I have a few more frogs, but they are all ready on your list. ;)

I just got a black Spro frog and so far LOVE it!!  I bought a couple others too.  My problem iis that once a lure is out of the package I have a hard time remembering which one it is.  Why every lure isn't marked with a brand name and model, at least I don't understand. Seems to me it would build repeat sales.
