Very well done!  Good catch.   ;D
One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.

Niru, Daisukai Aoki, Japan’s angler of the year, was in the United Stated a couple of months ago to fish with our 2017 angler of the year, Brandon Pauliniuk. My son was asked by the DStyle crew and BP’s crew to boat cameramen for a video that was released a couple of weeks ago. It was a two day experience  that my son will never forget. The DStyle crew have made him a lifetime member of their pro staff and now has extended family in Japan. Life is good!!😎

That’s good! :D In Japan, bass fishing is so popular and in my lake where I always go ice fishing, the tournament is held every week.
Here in winter many bass fishermen will be ice fishermen. They fish smelt.

Niru,
My son and I fish bass tournaments. My passion is ice fishing. We have lakes here that hold smelt. They are very good to eat.
My son Josh and I on a local lake after a tournament. Thought I’d share with you!😎

Nice pic!  Fishing with children seems to be fun. Ice fishing is also fun and smelt is so delicious. In ice shanty site I'm posting Japanese ice fishing.

It is a 14-seater fishing boat and it costs 10,000 yen per person in about 6 hours.
There is the living sardine of  bait in price.
