Carping
« on: Mar 28, 2011, 08:18 PM »
Wondering from those "professional" carpers any good places in upstate new york for carp or koi, I want to get my first one this year and planning on starting in April to get one of these bad boys, not asking anyone to give me their honeyholes just want someone to point me in the right direction for early spring carp fishing.  ;D

The St. Lawrence River but April may be a little early.
Check out Baldwinsville on the Seneca River. Google the Red Mill Inn.

a little to far for me, i live 5 minutes from the tomhannock which holds our state record, just want to find a good early spring fishing spot, but also no more than an hour away
