How Warm Is It?

It was melting off the front roof today which is a relief.

The snow that melted was on the south facing roof.  That’s where the snow piled the most this last storm.

The previous 2 storms dumped it on the north side.  And it was way more snow.  Additionally, when the snow melts on the north roof, it drips down refreezes on our back door/porch/steps making a massive mess.  We use the back door like 99% of the time, especially in snowy dirty wet weather.

So having the snow-melt happening on the front of the house is a nice relief.

You need to appreciate the small things in life.
