I was out there a couple weekends ago and was going for crappie in 26' of water at night with a sub. green light and was suprised i caught 2 eyes about 10' outside the light. They were both 14 1/2" but was just a little shocked. I have fished it quite a few times over the years for walleye and have had pretty good success. Usually troll or cast cranks. Cast them shallow like you would fish for bass!!

Lake of the Woods in Indiana? That's an oxymoron isn't it?  :D

I ended up with only 3 crappie. I did get a 5-6 lb catfish on my ice rod with 4lb test vertical jigging. Took me about 5 minutes to get him in!!
This is the first year i have used a light and im hooked. Use it here on a local lake and it seems like a magnet for crappie.
