Watched the Constantia FD and the Sherriff's boat pluck somebody out of the lake this afternoon. I heard on the scanner A sailboat tipped over, there were some good whitecaps on the lake. It looked like he was way out by grassy, maybe he blew across from Cicero.

Got out again Saturday. Had to wait until 10:30 to let the old girl calm down a little.  Another good day. Still on the jig bite and in 12 fow or less. Mostly 10 to 12 this weekend.  More 13 to 16 inch fish but still some nice ones mixed in.  A few smallies now on the sand. Nice ones up to 4.5 lbs.  First we have caught all season.  Water temp holding at 71 but with 40 degrees this morning and shorter days it will be dropping fast.  Oh, the eyes were spitting up two and a half to three inch shad and an occasional buckeye.  No little perch.

Nice eyes, Freddy!

I haven’t kept an eye all summer. Think it’s about time to get out there and grab a few for the pan.

Spent the last two Saturdays tossing plugs for mud sharks. I still find that so much fun. Even when they break your plugs in two.
