Fly rod found on Rapid

I had a fly rod float by me Friday night at the mouth of PITR. If you lost one send me a message and I will see what we can do about getting it back to you.

The sport who lost the rod may have been staying at Lakewood Camps and may have reported a lost rod to the lodge owner. Their webpage is

I've emailed Lakewood, rangeley region sport shop, and posted on FB fly fishing pages. Too bad to not find the owner pretty nice rod. I ironically have the same one.

A couple years ago I found an Allagash trap that was left by a family cusk fishing near me. At one time someone wrote thier name and address  on it but all you could make out was a couple letters of the last name and the zip code so called the post office with that zip code,  they did a little CSI work and found the owner and gave him my number..turns out the trap had been given to the fellows son by his grandfather (it was the grandfaters name on the trap) and the kid was crushed that he had lost it. When the guy came to pick it up he handed me a few scratch tickets and I won 75 bucks and took my wife out to dinner, the funny part is those were the only lottery tickets I've ever scratched in my life.

Good for you trying to get it back to the owner  8)
