A time to reflect.
« on: May 28, 2007, 08:34 PM »
On Sat. I had one of the worst days in a very long time see link
http://www.myfishfinder.com/fishing_forum/index.php?topic=16663.0/

I though on Sunday I would go fishing and try and relax a bit.
I didn't really matter if I even found a fish, just to be out in nature was good enough.

Just before I set up a man and his two spaniels came down to the water for a bit of fun.

One of them jumped in and was fetching sticks. {a dog fish,lol. :laugh:}

After they left I started fishing.

I only cast my lure 2 times and I had a fish on.

It turned out to be a 4 lb pike. :)

I fished for quite a while with only a few taps.

This robin and an oriel were around all afternoon.

About 20 min before I left, I hooked another pike and the big one of the day. This one took quite a few runs and even jumped right of of the water several times, more like a trout.

The pike was 29 inches long, had a 12 inch girth and weighed 7lbs. ;D

Here is the days catch. 8)

Both fish were caught on a yellow lure.
One on 6 of diamonds and the other a curly tail grub.
