gump I dont want to give away your spot if i am right but i think i know what jettie you are on.  I have been wanting to get up for some of those big ole browns for awhile now.  I cant get many days off from work just yet.

Great looking football.

Thanks guys!  He surprised me and jumped out of the water once like a rainbow.

I hate to say it but that fish is an average sized one this time of year up here.  We are spoiled up here I have been told  ;D

The LOC derby starts tomorrow and runs for 10 days along the shoreline of Lake Ontario here.  It will take something 3 times the size of this fish to win the brown trout division   :o  Probably something around 16 lbs. to win.   The grand prize winner is always a salmon and will take one around 28 lbs. to win.  Hopefully on one of my lines   Oh yeah, the grand prize is worth $10,000.00.  Winner in each of the trout and salmon categories is $1000.00 each and they pay out down to 20th place in each division.  Here is the link if anybody is interested in wathing the results over the course of the next week and a half.  The leader board is updated every hour.

THanks Willy.

Did I call it or what!  First day and someone already weighed in a 16+ lb. brownie...

Check the leaderboard:

Love to see the photos of that SLOB!!!

WOW!   :o :o :o :o

The 16.9 lb brown was bumped by a 20 lber. weighed in this morning!!!!!

A 22 lb. salmon leads the Grand Prize category:

http://www.loc.org/derby/leaderboard/currentadult.asp

All we could muster up this morning were a few 3-5 lb. salmon. and a brown about the same size.
