Big Catch Bait & Tackle
« on: Mar 12, 2018, 01:46 PM »
Big Catch Bait & Tackle, Buffalo is closing in 2 weeks, owners retiring. Inventory is 30% off. Rod racks and displays also for sale. Sad to see A great bait shop closing. Not many left around here. Reply on ICE SHANTY says they supply many other bait shops. The can & bottle return on site is supposed to carry worms & crayfish. Emeralds, shiners &  suckers are going to be hard to find.

Most emerald shiner bait shops are closing soon if you listen to the owners. Age has caught up with them and their main supplier is closing. Probably the only bait available will be foreign invader golden shiners from the mid west areas. prepare to get your own and deal with the VHS cops that want to see your bait receipts.

You are correct. Once again New York State is putting people out of business with its stupid rules and regulations.

The owners are retiring because they are old.

Nothing to do with NY State.

Most goldens come from Arkansas. Ironically there are a lot of times since the certification came about when the emeralds were coming from Michigan/Wisconsin area.
