Went out with the wife for some trolling , started about 10:00 , first stop we landed 4 eyes , had to measure every one and they came up short , so the next move was 4.5 miles away with more of the same , 10 more eyes with only 1 good one , plus 6 perch and a white , tossed the perch and the eye back , fun day and not to hot , we had decent cloud cover most of the time

Well done Jake
You would think with all the bait around the eyes would be heavier

anyone else notice the pink worms (ABOUT 1/2 TO 1 INCH) these perch and walleyes are spiting up in the live wells this year  , yesterday I found a long white one as well ( 2 inches) . I have never really noticed this before , I am getting about 10 of them with every limit , kind of sketchy lookin ( small type of tape worm? )

I have noticed tape worm in almost every Eye and every Lake Trout I have kept this year...prior to this year I had only seen one fish with it and that was an Oneida eye about 2 or 3 years back...

I guess the only thing worse for Lake Ontario than Lake Trout over population is a Lake Trout over population with tape worm...

Mayfly larva maybe? They are sort of white and normally 1" - 2" long. Or blood worms?

Nice job Fred and Jake!

I was out last night for a boat ride with the wife and boy. I couldn't resist putting out one lead core for a bit. I lost one good fish in about a half hour of trolling. It was a beautiful night, cool and no bugs!
