well the small mouth are hitting still cant get the eyes got one today had more fat on it like you would get in the fall might explain the slow bite

I would first have to know what size boat you have, then where do you want to fish? I would say some of the bays on the south shore will fish just fine, the east end and north shore would be tough if they are correct.

That could be a bit lumpy. WSW winds smash Godfrey pretty good. I'd get out at daybreak, stay fairly close and expect to get blown off by midday. If the forecast is right, that is. The last two times I've been out it's been completely wrong.

Spot on, or switch it up and go from the South Shore, It'll buy you an hour or 2 mid lake

Good luck to anyone out there giving it a go today. It's hot and flat 😓

Late start. On water at 8:30 am.  First stop  19 fow , 2 short eyes and several small perch. Then to 24 fow, nothing on finder. Started serching...  Finally at 9:45, water temp at 70 degrees, no wind, bright sun and in 5 to 7 fow ( yes, five to  seven )we found the eyes. Next hr and a half we ( 2 of us) boated  19 eyes, 8 were 11 to 15 inches thke rest up to 22 1/2.  Kept 2  18 inchers for dinner.   Depth means nothing any more, find the bait fish and the eyes will be there.

Rolled into the south shore launch at7.... caught 1 short in front of 123 30 fow... back at it in the morning....
