I took the kayak out after bass for about an hour last night. Got two big smallies, one pre and one post spawn. The post spawn was the longest I’ve caught in a while but thin, of course.

Added another little cookie cutter smallie and a beautiful blue tinted walleye. Looked like the lateral line and edges of the fins were drawn with a blue highlighter. Wish I had my phone but I don’t bring it in the kayak.

Yo Bruce & KP,

Watch out for this guy. The newest Boggey "MICK". His first touch. He already knows where the boat's horn is as well as the tilt , pump and exhaust fan. Not big on the fishing pole yet, but we got lots of time to work that out eh?

Wish  they had that stuff 50 years ago...

Good time to set the younger generations down and explain what the holiday is really about.  Not just grilling hotdogs and the start of summer, although that's worth a celebration on its own! But don't forget the thousands who have made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can enjoy these simple pleasures that we sometimes take for granted.  Thank you for all for what you have done and continue to do so we can live in the best country in the world today.

Had a great weekend up at camp took the kids tubing and they even talked me into letting them drag me around the lake...and the eyes were very cooperative too
